Rachel Clark, founder of Dearest Rachel in New York City, emerged as the winner of the 2021 Dare to Bloom floral design competition held in Miami. Organized by Lulu Is Forever, the event challenged florists to create innovative designs using Lulu Eternal Roses and fresh roses from Naranjo Farms. Rachel’s creations stood out for their originality and emotional depth, earning her the top prize.

In 2022, Dare to Bloom expanded to Europe, taking place at the prestigious Fleuramour Festival in Belgium under the theme Be Part of the Magic. This edition, known as Dare to Fly, challenged floral designers to create wearable wings using preserved flowers. The competition’s artistic level was unprecedented, revealing the limitless possibilities of preserved floral designs.

She is registered in Zagreb as the owner of a floral services business named WONS-FLOWERS, founded on September 19, 2023.
She also previously owned a beauty salon in Slavonski Brod called Gossip Studio, registered in December 2022.

Christian Pila was crowned the winner of the Dare to Bloom Ecuador showcase, held at Naranjo Roses in Cumbayá during the Expoflor Ecuador 2024 event (floristsreview.com).
He was one of five Ecuadorian floral designers selected to participate in this edition, working with preserved roses from the LULU brand to create haute couture-inspired designs on mannequins.
His concept was described with the following phrase: “The sensual woman, wrapped in fashion and surrounded by roses, embodies natural beauty.”
Christian Pila stood out for his creativity in merging fashion and floristry, securing first place over other notable designers such as Janeth Falconi (2nd place) and Gabriela Vallejo (3rd place).
Christian Pila is an emerging talent in Ecuador’s floral design scene, known for his ability to conceptualize floral art that blends fashion, nature, and creativity. His victory in the inaugural Dare to Bloom Ecuador 2024 positions him as a standout figure in artistic floristry and sets the stage for future international recognition.
